Arun grew up in Redwood City, California, and received his undergraduate degree in ChemE from UC Berkeley May 2023. His previous research has included work on the sintering of nanoparticles with Prof. Matteo Cargnello at Stanford and the development of new materials for water purification and sustainable mining with Prof. Jeff Long at UC Berkeley (now being developed commercially at ChemFinity Tech). He spent ~8 months working on CO2 direct air capture and conversion to renewable natural gas at Terraform Industries. Now he is working on novel architectures/designs for electrochemical reactors.
