Claire is from Milton, MA and graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2025 with a BS in Chemical Engineering. During her undergraduate career, she studied photocatalysts for green ammonia synthesis under the mentorship of Professor Nianqiang Wu. She also worked on proton-conducting solid oxide cells with Professor Juliana Carneiro at Columbia University. In the Brushett Group, she will be working on electrochemical carbon dioxide separation with an initial focus on active materials and electrolyte development. Outside of research, Claire enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and live music.
