Eleonora earned her B.Sc. in Materials Engineering from the University of Trieste in 2021, where she investigated the role of nanotechnology in third-generation photovoltaics. She then pursued an M.Sc. in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology at Politecnico di Milano, completing her thesis on polysulfide based redox flow batteries. In 2024, she began her doctoral studies at Politecnico di Milano under the supervision of Prof. Luca Magagnin, focusing on the development of next-generation aqueous redox flow batteries based on earth-abundant materials.

In the Brushett Group, Eleonora will conduct research on redox-mediated flow batteries. Her visiting position is supported by the Roberto Rocca Fellowship, funded by the MIT-Italy Program, and by the Ermenegildo Zegna Founder’s Scholarship.
