Sasha received her PhD in Chemical Engineering from the Brushett group in May 2024, with her research focusing on the simulation of convection-enhanced Li-ion batteries. Before joining MIT, she earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 2017 and her M.S. in Chemical Engineering from WPI in 2018. For both her undergraduate and master’s theses, she conducted research in Professor Ron Grimm’s lab at WPI, focusing on the surface chemistry of perovskite materials. Her current research involves developing a Li-ion convection battery prototype.
